Roasting

Lazy Sunday is light roast that is pleasant to drink. It mellows and becomes warm to your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa adds citrus notes to the balance. The result is a delicious coffee which can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It can also be paired with lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges very well.

We recommend using the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding water that is just boiling will keep it warm. After making the coffee, let it sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that the grounds are filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger. Do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.

Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, perfect for weekend getaways.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a soft light roast with citrus, sweet and cocoa aroma. It has a smooth, caressing mouthfeel. The cocoa hints can be traced back to a winter's afternoon spent on the couch with an enjoyable book and an embrace from the family. To brew the coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from over extracting and forming undesirable elements in the drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge, and then enjoy.
